Longreach School of Distance Education brought students together from across Outback Queensland to perform Star Warts, a satirical twist on Star Wars. With only four in-person rehearsals, 101 students took the stage, wowing a crowd of 500 and proving that, even in remote settings, creativity and dedication can shine.

The Alpha Show Society Beef Dinner showcased local cattle producers after a 100-day feedlot program. Judged on weight, grading, and taste, the event featured a three-course beef dinner designed by celebrity chef Matt Golinski.
